Frequently Asked Questions

Do you store my photos?

No. That's the beauty of Album Plus. We're able to do all image processing locally, on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to a server. They stay safe on your phone. You don't even need internet to use our app!

Why is this app subscription-based?

So that we can keep the lights on and continue to add new features to Album Plus. There's a ton of engineering work that goes into the app and we're continually needing to improve it as technology improves - which is daily! A one-time purchase would not allow us to build Album Plus.

What happens when my subscription expires?

Don't want to pay for Album Plus anymore? Once your subscription ends you can continue to use the app. Your images will continue to be indexed, you just won't have access to all the extra filters.

Why are some of my photos missing?

Album Plus does its best to show you only photos that you might want to see. So by default, we hide things like screenshots and documents. You can find those by tapping on "hidden photo(s)" to expand and see them hiding.
